Beauty Mistakes That Can Make You Look Older

There’s nothing we can do to reverse time; the hands of time continuously progress. Do you want to know what else keeps moving with time? Us. Whether we like it or not, we get older. With age comes inevitable declines that we just can’t help. However, your sense of style and beauty can definitely age you faster than life itself. Your wardrobe, hairstyle or makeup could be making you look older than you actually are!

1. Using Eyeliner:

As you age, the darker the eyeliner, the less appealing it may appear. Dark eyes can make a younger girl trying to get into a club appear 18-21, but as the future years reveal itself, this is probably not what you want to go for. Brown or gray are usually the colors you would want to stick with if you’re going to use eyeliner. Black gives off a heavier feel and can change how old you look. Softer colors are better. A rule of thumb to keep handy is the darker the harder, the lighter, the softer.

2.Wearing dark lipstick:


Just as dark eyeliner can make you appear older than you are, so can dark lipstick. A glossier and lighter tone of lip product can bring about a younger glow, as opposed to darker lipstick which adds years to your age. Going with natural colors can be your best bet and you’ll truly notice a difference when switching products. Of course, there are different shades that work for different people. Finding how light to go is the key.


3. Wrong moisturizer:


You want to keep your skin moisturized because it feels good and because it helps keep your skin hydrated. However, using the wrong product can have negative effects on how old you look. When you’re moisturizing your face, go with a more non-comedogenic formula that won’t clog up your pores. It’s best to apply moisturizer to your body when you’re fresh out of the shower, for best results.


4. Abuse to the eye area


Taking care of the skin around your eyes is important. The area of the skin under the eye is thinner than the rest of your face, so be careful what you rub into that area. You can do damage in many ways such as scratching, rubbing and applying too many cosmetic products. You shouldn’t overuse the products you are using on your eye area. Many eye products aren’t supposed to be used every day; this is abuse to your skin.




1. Using rosewater as a cleanser everyday.

2.Drink apple cider vinegar on an empty stomach to detoxify and cleanse the body.this reduces face bloating. Makes you slimmer too!!

3. Yoga relaxes your body making you less prone to acne.

4. Try a clay mask.I would recommend ‘Neem clay mask’.Use once or twice a week.

5. Steam your fave with green tea or cchamomile tea twice a week or more.
