I’m a fan of skincare DIYs,because I prefer using organic products on my skin. So I have been experimenting alot these past years,and I’ve been able to come up with different ways to take care of my skin and my body. I got inspired because I have sensitive skin,so sometimes when my skin gets clear,it wouldn’t last. I break out alot on my face and I get sunburned easily.
This article is going to be about a new method I use to exfoliate my skin(no sugar here).
Let’s jump right in..
The ingredients you would need includes:
- Green tea
The first thing is to mix a little amount of oats in a bowl with warm water,into a thick consistency. Then grate the cucumber and drain out a little water from it,and add it to the oats.
For the green tea,open up a teabags and add it to the mixture.Finally,add one teaspoon of coffee grounds,and mix them all together.
HOW TO APPLY
You want to make sure your face is totally clean,you can also steam your face,if there is enough time.Next,apply using clean hands,so as to massage it on the face,for one minute. Then leave it to dry(this would take 5 minutes).
You can leave your mask on for as long as you want. Overnight works a great deal.

This mixture is really mild and it has a cooling effect on the skin. The oats have added nutrients that exfoliate the skin and removes the excess oils from your face. Coffee contains a number of useful nutrients, including riboflavin ( vitamin B-2), niacin (vitamin B-3), magnesium, potassium, and various phenolic compounds. Coffee helps to unclog the pores,increase blood flow and also removes sunburns. Cucumber is anti-inflammatory and is great for adding a glow to the skin.Lastly,Green tea treats acne and helps to tone the skin.
