WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!
It’s been a week since I write an article here on my blog, well almost a week.
I finally did a protective style after doing the big chop in October,it feels good to know that my hair would be well protected for about a month, before I loosen it.
I did Braids for a start because it helps to limit the stress of environmental factors on natural hair by keeping the ends of hair tucked away in order to discourage tugging, pulling, and manipulation.
There was a time when I used to think that Braids could cause hair damage, but I learned that it all depends on how you take care of it.
I wrote a guide on how I take care of my braids here:
How do I feel about my first braid?
I feel relieved, because I wouldn’t have to worry so much during the first stages of hair growth. My hair was about one and half inches when I braided it,so I didn’t want to leave it exposed.
In time,I hope to be giving update about my hair growth, and my first update would be on the 1st of January! Which is when my hair would be 3-months old!!
See you in my next article!
