Before I get in to the main reason you are here,I just want to let you know that I have been natural for almost 8 months now,and I will probably be doing a lenth-check soon,on the blog. I cut my relaxed hair on the 1st of October,2019. Since then,I haven’t regretted going natural at all.
Today’s episode would be how I soften my natural hair. I honestly do not use alot of products on my hair,I majorly use natural oils. I just started using a product I got from this brand called “Hair Wonder”.
I normally comb my hair every 2 to 3 days.It doesn’t have to be an everyday ritual,if you are not planning on braiding your hair anytime soon.
The items you will need is:
- Hair brush
- Spray bottle water
- Coconut oil or Baby oil
- Leave-in conditioner/ Hair moisturising cream
What you really need is water, any hair oil you have and a moisturizer. I have everything on the list but,you can use what you have,as long as the 3 important items are available.
The first thing I do is to spray my hair with water, then I use my hands to detangle my hair until I feel that I can comb through it.
Next, apply a generous amount of oil. I use baby oil most of the time,so after applying it,I massage my scalp, and again, finger detangle it.
Then I use a hairbrush to comb it from the root. This time,it would be much more easy to comb.
Lastly,I apply leave-in conditioner to lock in all the moisture and hair nutrients.
Once in awhile,I post my hair, makeup, and skin routine on the blog. Feel free to give your own tips in the comment section below.
See you in my next post🙂
